Abstract
Na otoku Krku turizam ima glavnu ulogu u nosivosti gospodarstva te njegova sezonalnost negativno utječe na cjelokupni razvitak otoka. Osim prirodnih ljepota, kulturne baštine i gastronomije otok Krk ima široku ponudu namijenjenu za sve tipove turista. Otok Krk također sudjeluje u cjelokupnom prometu Primorsko-goranske županije s visokih 28%. Specifični oblici turizma imaju važnu ulogu te je najzastupljeniji nautički turizam koji ima najveći doprinos u cjelokupnom turizmu. Gastronomska se ponuda Krka bazira na domaćim i autohtonim proizvodima koji su svojom kvalitetom na visokoj ljestvici. Enološka ponuda vina također iskače svojom kvalitetom i nagradama te je neizostavna stavka gastronomije otoka. Ovim se radom želi naglasiti potencijal otoka te njegovu nedovoljnu iskoristivost. Razmatra se problem sezonalnosti, o razlikama u dolascima po mjestima na otoku te o nedovoljnom angažmanu u gastronomskoj sceni.
Abstract (english)
On the island of Krk, tourism plays a major role in the carrying capacity of the economy, and its seasonality negatively affects the overall development of the island. In addition to natural beauty, cultural heritage and gastronomy, the island of Krk has a wide range of offers intended for all types of tourists. The island of Krk also participates in the overall traffic of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County with a high 28%. Specific types of tourism play an important role, and the most represented is nautical tourism, which has the largest contribution to overall tourism. Krk's gastronomic offer is based on domestic and autochthonous products that are of high quality. The oenological offer of wine also stands out for its quality and awards and is an indispensable item of the island's gastronomy. This final work aims to emphasize the island's potential and its insufficient utilization. The problem of seasonality, the differences in arrivals by place on the island and insufficient involvement in the gastronomic scene are considered.
