Abstract
Otok Krk već je godinama jedna od vodećih turističkih otočnih destinacija u Hrvatskoj. Jedan od razloga svakako je i bogata ugostiteljska ponuda. Zbog svojeg povoljnog položaja Bistro & Beach bar Rova plažni je objekt u uvali Rova u Malinskoj koji s dugom tradicijom poslovanja. Nudi ručak i večeru, opsežnu kartu, vanjski roštilj, obročne salate, i šarene ljetne koktele. Cilj ovog završnog rada je utvrditi opravdanost uvođenja doručka u objektu. Na području uvale ne postoji trgovina niti pekara, a objekti smješteni na plaži ne nude doručak. Kako postoje svi tehnički, organizacijski i operativni uvjeti, uvođenje doručka opravdan je, logičan i poželjan potez, kojeg, gosti i podržavaju. Korištene metode istraživanja su vlastita zapažanja autora, zapažanja i dnevnik vlasnika ugostiteljskog objekta te SWOT analiza.
Abstract (english)
The island of Krk is recognized as one of the leading tourist destinations in Croatia, part of the reason being its rich gastronomic offer. Bistro & Beach bar Rova is a beach facility with a long tradition located in the Rova bay in Malinska with a unique beach location. It offers lunch and dinner, an extensive menu, barbecue, salads, and colorful summer cocktails. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the idea of offering breakfast at the bistro. There is no shop or bakery in the nearby area, and other beachfront restaurants and places do not serve breakfast. Given all the technical, organizational and operational conditions are met, serving breakfast seems to justified, logical and desirable move, supported by both, bistro customers and the owner. Research methods include author's own observations and questionnaire, observations and personal notes of the bistro owner, as well as the SWOT analysis.
