nekih marina, a time i osjetljivost od strateških rizika.
Abstract (english) | Nautical tourism, and in its marinas, are of particular importance for coastal Croatian tourism.
Croatian marinas, about 66 of them, consist of 22 marinas of the ACI marina chain, which is
predominantly state-owned, and private marinas, which is important for our analysis of marina
management. There is an important difference in the business of marinas in terms of strategic
risk, as opposed to risk-free business. This means that the management of marinas must opt for
a strategic approach to business, which especially applies to business with moorings, which
make up about 70% of the income of Croatian marinas. Starting from the mentioned fact, the
purpose of this work is to investigate the strategies of business with berths that are implemented
in Croatian marinas and to point out the degree of business risk that occurs in the conditions of
the occurrence of strategic risk. The fact is that the operations of the ACI chain of state marinas
and private marinas, in the domain of the marinas with berths business strategy, are
significantly different, and therefore it is necessary to analyse the success resulting from these
differences. As an example, it was used for the example of the strategic risk of COVID-19,
which showed mistakes in setting the strategy of some marinas, and thus the sensitivity of
strategic risks.
The results of the research also point to differences in business operations that occurred under
the conditions of COVID-19, especially regarding the position of marinas on the Adriatic coast.
According to the research, business with berths in transit proved to be extremely sensitive to
strategic risk, and the marinas in the south of the Croatian Adriatic stand out in this regard. The
reasons for this are explained in this paper. |
