Abstract
Cilj istraživanja bio je istražiti kakav utjecaj Advent ima na razvoj Zagreba kao destinacije. Prva hipoteza bila je da Advent u Zagrebu pozitivno utječe na razvoj Zagreba kao europske turističke destinacije. Druga hipoteza sugerira osmišljavanje i realizaciju dodatnih manifestacija u Zagrebu, po uzoru na Advent tijekom drugih razdoblja u godini, te stvaranje potencijala za dodatni turistički razvoj grada Zagreba. Treća hipoteza sugerira da Advent i slične manifestacije značajno utječu na razvitak turističkog sektora u gradu Zagrebu u smislu povećanja turističkog prometa. Kako bi se odgovorilo na postavljene hipoteze provedena je anketa (N= 288) kojom su ispitani stavovi o manifestacijama u Zagrebu s naglaskom na manifestaciju Adventa. Rezultati su pokazali da najveći broj sudionika posjećuje Zagreb povodom Adventa (27,8%). Većina sudionika izrazila je slaganje da Advent utječe na turistički razvoj Zagreba (M=4,69) te da postoji potencijal za stvaranje dodatnih turističkih manifestacija (M=4,66), kao i da brojne manifestacije pozitivno doprinose povećanju turističkog prometa grada Zagreba (M=4,61).
